Four playful afternoons where children learn age-appropriate tools for calm, focus, and confidence through breathing practices, games, movement, and teamwork.
Shubhangi is a Vancouver-area mom, and her child will be at the course.
August afternoons are long, camps are done, and everyone's patience is thin.
Big feelings, restless nights, meltdowns over small things — and "calm down" never works.
A bright kid who won't raise their hand, and a world that never gets to see what you see.
Five minutes without a device feels impossible — and fighting it just makes it worse.
SKY Kids is active, playful, and intentionally hard to reduce to a checklist. Children learn by doing—and a few discoveries are theirs to keep.
Games, movement, laughter, and team challenges keep the afternoons lively. This is not a lecture or three hours of sitting still.
Children experience age-adapted breathing and calming practices they can return to beyond the course.
Confidence, friendship, kindness, and leadership are explored through experience—not handed over as another list to memorize.

The most credible studies involve teenagers, university students, or adults—not children ages 8–12 in this specific four-day Vancouver course. We’re linking the evidence directly so you can see what was studied and decide for yourself.
A four-week school program combining breathing, yoga, meditation, and life skills was studied in students ages 14–18. Researchers reported lower impulsive behaviour after the program.

SKY Kids teaches age-adapted practices from the SKY family. It is an educational program—not medical advice or treatment for any condition. Individual experiences vary.
Kids leave with a 15–20 minute daily practice they can keep using to support steadier mornings, calmer evenings, and fuller engagement in school, sports, creativity, and relationships.
Children can continue receiving follow-up support after the course, helping the tools stay familiar.
Perfect — this program was built for exactly that kid. It's games, movement, team challenges, and short, doable practices. No one is asked to sit like a statue.
More than okay. The small group and talking circles are designed to gently draw kids out — many parents enrol for exactly this reason, and watching a quiet kid find their voice is our favourite part.
No. The course uses practical breathing, calming, and life-skills exercises. Families of every background and belief attend Art of Living programs worldwide.
Kids leave with a 15–20 minute daily toolkit and access to free ongoing follow-up, giving them ways to revisit the practice after the course.
